The Esperon family was a joy to work with! We started our family session at the parking lot of Terranea Resort – Yes! There’s actually a few perfect spots just right at the parking lot. For their family, it was a decent size to shoot at this spot right under a nice-looking tree with a few rocks to sit down on, creating varied eye-level family portraits.
The lighting was perfect during the Golden Hour of the day, just a little bit chilly, which the family came prepared and I loved it! After a short session at the parking lot, we worked our way down the beach, stopping by a few spots along the way.
We are so glad and grateful that Terranea Resort is open to the public, as long as we are all courteous to the surrounding areas and other visiting guests, which the family was especially mindful of where they were stepping on, so kudos to their great family teamwork!
Within the hour, we were able to hit 4 great spots for over a hundred of nice looking photos. We couldn’t have done this without everyone’s great smiles and enthusiastic participation.
