I had the pleasure of working with Ukki Sachedina, who has an incredible talent in music at such a young age. His Dad, I suppose is also his acting manager, had connected with us and told us Ukki’s need for some professional portraits to submit to NPR for publication purposes. We were very much excited for this opportunity, and this young gentleman’s bright future ahead on his music journey. With that in mind, carefully picking a location that makes sense for him will serve a great compliment to his photographs.
As mentioned in many of our other blog posts, Malaga Cove Plaza is one of our favorite places to shoot for a variety of portraits. For this particular purpose, his background in classical music, a European styled environment is hands-down the straight-froward choice. The shoot took place on New Year’s Eve, so the plaza was a lot more quiet, and we were able to room around the area for different looks without the need to avoid pedestrians and cars in the background. Along with the Fall color leaves and pinkish-purple sky of the evening, it was a real treat to shoot this session – so happy we got to shoot this with Ukki!
