The PV Cove Lookout point is by far one of the most beautiful places in Southern California to visit. When I first discovered this spot, I was in awe with the stunning scenery, and the amazing 180 degree plus ocean view. You will feel so lucky to come out here for a small picnic time, watching the sunset with your loved one(s). It’s a public place, and the parking to get there isn’t bad at all.
Brian and Jinah come to this spot quite often on dates. When Brian and I initially connected for his plan to propose to Jinah, he had a few places in mind. About a week and a half before the significant date, we went around Palos Verdes to scout out a few options.
Proposal Pro Tip #1 The most important thing when planning a surprise proposal is to plan ahead of time. Scout out the location at the time of day you plan on proposal.

Proposal Pro Tip #2 While planning is important, and we can plan as much as we want based on sun direction, wind speed, standing direction, etc, what actually comes down to is for the proposer to relax and enjoy the moment as this all happens.
