Hello, my name is Stephanie Ip.

I am a multidisciplinary creator with experiences in the industry of fashion and entertainment, exploring my passion for photography and videography, and finding beautiful stories to capture.

Ever since I was a little girl, I learned to smile and pose for my dad, who loved capturing the family moments through a film camera and camcorder. Photography came naturally to me when I began to learn how to work both hands-on and through observation. My artistic talent and curiosity brought me to New York City, through the fashion industry, working with industry leaders from designers and editors to seamstresses.

I have been shooting since the Kodak color film days, where 27 or 30 pictures had to be taken before you can take them to the physical photoshop to get them developed - Boy! Those were the days! As I continue to explore the different types of cameras, my love for photography began to grow. I find myself enjoy taking portrait photos of humans and animals, being able to capture their happy smiles fill my heart.

Nowadays, I am shooting with a mirrorless full-frame high megapixels camera, and the results are amazing!! I want to share my love for photography with anyone who enjoys it as much as I love shooting them. As a South Bay resident, I had discovered several decent spots for portrait photos I can recommend.

As a creator myself, I believe craftsmanship is the spirit behind every art piece, and I see the same in photography.

Playful Fluff

Hello, my name is Shabu.

When my big sister passed, my hooman found me and I rescued them. 😁 It has been a lot of fun going on photoshoots with them, and learning how to be calm around other hoomans. Unlike my big sister, I am more vocal, energetic, and speedy. Little kids and families find me cute and sweet to be around at shoots. Please let us know if you are scared of my kind of creature.

Emotional Support Fluff

Hello, my name is Shadow.

In memory of our sweet girl ❀️

I am my Mom's little shadow, following her wherever she goes because I have separation anxiety. As long as I see my Mom, I am calm and collected. Little kids and families find my calming demeanor fun to be around at shoots, as long as I am allowed to come!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a self-taught photographer, who have been shooting since the Kodak color film days, where 27 or 30 pictures had to be taken before you can take them to the physical photoshop to get them developed - Boy! Those were the days! That's about 10 years of photography experience. Nowadays, I am shooting with a mirrorless full-frame high megapixels camera, and the results are amazing!

My customers range from individuals to corporations. I treat all my clients equally, as their photographic needs are all unique and one of a kind.

The most recent project that I really enjoyed capturing was the Surprise Proposal and Mini Engagement session for a couple. It took a week of planning, and the rest was history! You can check out the results under my portfolio or visit my website.

Knowing the type of photographic style you like will be helpful when it comes to looking for a photographer to hire, as all photographers have their own unique style of shoot and editing the photos. Aside from that, location is important as well, know when and where you want your photos taken will help you find the right photographer for your special shoot. Lastly, having a connection with the photographer is key to success, especially when you will be working closely with the photographer, you want to make sure he/she has the right attitude to capture your vision!

Pricing and the package. While pricing is important, I strongly advise customers to weigh out their options by looking at a few key things:

1- Photographic style
2- Photographer's attitude towards your project
3- Package details
4- Lastly, price
