I can’t remember the last time we were out at 626 Night Market, showcasing my arts and crafts for my handmade business, Sutai Bu. Covid had shut down a lot of outdoor events, preventing a lot of us creative artists from attending these in-person events. This time around was in fact our second time vending at 626 Night Market Artwalk, we were so happy to see familiar faces and reconnect with fellow artists. If you have never been to these types of night markets, you have got to check them out, especially if you enjoy Asian food culture! The minute you enter the event, you will feel a sense of positive energy in every corner you walk into. You can shop, eat, and enjoy some entertainment put out by a ton of amazing Asian artists and vendors.

As a vendor myself – yes! I create art as well! I particularly enjoy being surrounded by the creatives and their drive to make people happy, something you don’t get to experience when shopping online. Every one of us showcase something uniquely different, below is a small list of artists with amazing work, take a closer look at their websites if any of them interests you!

Animal Art

1 – Emii Creations Emily’s booth is always filled with art with humor in it. They are also translated into cute merch like keychains and stickers, to remind you life is full of fun, don’t take it too seriously.
2 – Kieutie Pie From the name you can already tell Kieu does anything cute. She cutify (if it’s a word) all already cute animals, giving them personality and story in the form of art prints, pins, stickers, and much more!

Anime Art

1 – Pascual Productions  If you enjoy anime, and collecting watercolor art, Geoff has been focused on anime watercolor art since 2014, truly talented self-taught watercolor artists. He modernized anime in his own style of watercolor art, perfect for room decor.

Floral Art

1 – Sutai Bu Nothing beats a forever living plant on the wall. Colorful watercolor art of a variety of florals and underwater art will liven up the space it lives in. Love wearing floral prints? Check out the Wrapping Bar for versatile textile goods such as Furoshiki and hair accessories.

Food Art

1- Boba Jelly Art For any foodies out there who loves abstract digital art, Erich, the artist, offers a variety of popular food themed art prints that are perfect for any wall decorations. Whether you own a restaurant or simply looking for kitchen decorations, you’ll find his minimalistic art easy to match with any modern day style of interior decor.

Public Figure Art

1 – The Art of Jov If you are a fan of a public figure in a cartoon style collector art print, Jovi will have something for you. Don’t see what you’re looking for? He does commission art as well, nothing is impossible for him.
